MatrixSCM builds upon the success of ILMS by harnessing the power and flexibility of Oracle 10g in a Java-based, three-tiered system designed to tackle the most complex and demanding supply chains. Whether you select MatrixSCM or ILMS, customers can configure to their specific needs by selecting only those modules they need.

DATA TRANSLATION AND EXCHANGE MANAGEMENT
Connect all of your logistics providers through a centralized, fully managed hub. Avoid the hassle and expense of supporting communications to a dozen or more vendors. ICL provides a single point of contact for all of your vendors, reducing complexity and administrative costs. Nearly every major finished vehicle logistics provider is currently connected with ICL. As a result, ICL is fast becoming the industry standard for connecting manufacturers to their logistics partners. ICL uses XML, X12, EDIFACT and other standards for data transmission, allowing us to support the unique requirements of any customer.

AUTOMATED ASSET TRACKING
To provide complete visibility of all vehicles in the pre-delivery and transportation process, ICL developed the Automated Asset Tracking System. Supporting all modes of transportation, the system allows you to track the status of vehicles in your supply-chain, identify exceptions quickly, and generates accurate metrics detailing the performance of all your vendors. The system also incorporates a sophisticated 'ETA engine' capable of generating revised ETA information on all vehicles in-transit. With ICL, you will know the location and status of your product, day or night.

ELECTRONIC INVOICE AUDIT SYSTEM
Invoice auditing can be a time-consuming and frustrating process. ICL's automated audit and approval process allows you to review all of your vendor invoices quickly and accurately. With ICL's unique auditing systems, a manufacturer can now get detailed, continuously updated cost information down to the individual unit, providing a powerful tool for maximizing supplier performance and containing costs. Developed to meet the demanding requirements of the automobile industry, ICL applies the proven technology of our asset tracking and invoice audit systems to help you manage your vehicle pre-delivery or reconditioning operations. Receive continuously updated production information and confirm the status of all work in progress. The payment and audit process is completely integrated, insuring that you are only paying for the work you specify, at the terms you negotiated, as the work is performed.

NON-STANDARD MOVE SYSTEM
While only accounting for a small portion of an automaker's total volume, managing non-standard moves can be a time-consuming process. ICL provides a solution that eliminates the need for faxes or manual bills, allowing you to coordinate and monitor the transportation and invoicing for all vehicles shipped to non-standard locations, such as auto shows, dealer buy-backs, stock transfers, etc. You can even track and manage the bid process when establishing these moves, insuring you have complete historical record of all aspects of the move.

REMARKETING SYSTEM
ICL can also help you coordinate the marshalling and transportation of off-lease and program vehicles heading to auction. Track vehicle location, dwell times, and audit and approve carrier invoices. Combined with our Pre-Delivery Production Auditing System, ICL can provide visibility and auditing capabilities for the entire pre-auction reconditioning and transportation process.

BENCHMARKING
Building upon our extensive knowledge base of the automotive industry, we will be working with all of the manufacturers to provide performance and cost metrics across the industry. This information will be available to all participants in a data warehouse viewable from the web on a monthly basis. In addition to being able to view the various metrics, this effort will promote crooperation and collaboration across the industry. An additional benefit of this effort will be to improve the equipment utilization for both the rail and truck vendors, as well as to reduce overall transit times.

SMALL CARRIER COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Need to use a backup carrier, or do you occasionally use a carrier that may not have the back office systems required to provide you information electronically? ICL has developed a web-based event reporting and invoice approval system that allows any carrier with access to the Internet the ability to report pickup, delivery, and invoice for work performed via a secure web site. Most importantly, this allows a manufacturer to capture all event and cost information in one centralized database, eliminating the need to process paper invoices.

BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM
To help customers makes sense of the myriad event and invoicing data captured in the system, ICL offers a complete Business Intelligence solution, allowing customers to create ad-hoc reports and analysis quickly and easily.  This OLAP-based system allows users to analyze data from multiple dimensions, with the ability to create and save reports that can be used individually or shared across the entire organization.  The system also allows for the creation of customized portals containing key metrics and alerts based on the specific needs of each user, further enhancing the capability and flexibility of ILMS and MatrixSCM.
